Klara (Sabine Timoteo) is no longer of this world. Frozen to a halt, she stands on a traffic island, staring into space. She can no longer lead a regular life. She gave up her job at the hotel and gave away her furniture. So she now wanders, lost in thought, through her empty apartment or rests introverted on the roof of her house. Since she can no longer connect with people, she seeks the company of birds and plants. However, over time, her turning away from this world takes on increasingly worrying traits until she has withdrawn so far into herself that she has even stopped eating. What drives Klara, where her journey leads, and whether her condition is a cleansing release from worldly baggage or perhaps a massive psychological problem are things the film keeps to itself.
