That means the entire first round has ended with no losses from any team seeded one through four, which means there is no team left seeded 13th or worse. Here’s the current bracket.
Like yesterday, there was a single 12th seed that advanced by defeating a 5th seed. #12 Colorado State defeated Memphis with a big second half, but I got nothin’ to say. I didn’t follow that game at all.
Big shout-out to the kids of 15th-seeded Robert Morris! They didn’t defeat 2nd-seeded Alabama, but they were in it all the way, even pulling ahead 65-64 at one point, and they finished with 81 points. That’s impressive for a 22-point underdog. They may have lost only because they ran out of gas. Their starters nearly went all the way, while ‘Bama was able to draw from a deep and talented bench. The Alabama bench outscored their Morris counterparts 41-11. (Morris only played two non-starters in the entire game, and one of them played only nine minutes.)

Colorado State was a 1.5 point favorite over Memphis. So it wasn’t an upset in Vegas at least, lol.
I didn’t even notice that.
That game just flew completely under my radar.
