The stars of American Pie.
If they can get the cast together to attend their class’s 25th reunion, I would watch the shit out of that, hoping they can keep the tone of the original film. (Would that be too politically incorrect today?) I liked the first film when it came out, and I still enjoy watching excerpts.

Shannon Elizabeth just made a dramatic film called Death on the Border. Here are a few random snaps, just to show what she looks like. She is 50 years old.
You probably know what Mena Suvari looks like. She is a regular on RZR. She’s 45, the youngest of the four pictured above, and the only one who was really young enough to be a high school senior in American Pie.
She actually looks better than pictured below, but that shot is designed to show that she is not a piece of fluff, but a serious actress now, which is true. She will play Jane Wyman, the Gipper’s first wife, in the upcoming Reagan movie. That’s a significant role in what should be a major film.
Alison Hannigan has also been seen frequently, as the MC of Penn and Teller Fool Us. Those clips are popular all over the ‘net. She was on Dancing With The Stars last year, and made it to the finals. I think she looks terrific at 50:
As for Tara Reid, her story is complicated. The former party girl has faced a lot of challenges, but has endured sufficiently to create an offbeat career. She even did a season on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test last year, and everyone was rooting for her, although she ultimately couldn’t hack it.
That kind of summarizes her life.
But we’re all still rooting for her.
She is 48. The other three look like older versions of their Pie-era selves, but Tara … ? Well, she’s Tara. What can you say? She hears a different drummer.

Possible sub-plot. Jim’s dad is now senile, and HE fucks the pie.

Looking at that recent shot of Tara, I think of my friend Dan’s advice – When you fuck Crazy you gotta watch it, *anything* can happen. The pie might not be as hot, but definitely the safer choice.

Vividly remember when this came out. It is very much a time capsule to it’s era (1999 – so late ’90s, early ’00s) with the fashion, music, pop culture and jokes. It would be considered incredibly offensive today. But it reminds me of that time and place as much as anything. Do you have a link to your review of it?
Funny thing is, out of all the ladies in the cast, it’s two of the supporting actresses that have had the most career success recently. Natasha Lyonne had the shows Russian Doll and Poker Face and Jennifer Coolidge had her role on The White Lotus.
After the success of Schitt’s Creek, Eugene Levy could be considered the most successful male cast member currently.
Is it that long since How I Met Your Mother? How did that end a decade ago?
Anyway, with that and Buffy, Hannigan likely never has to work another day in her life if she doesn’t want to do so.
They already did a reunion film back in 2012. It sounded horrible, but apparently was profitable. I guess they could try again
