Swiss psychological drama based upon a story (“Fräulein Else”) from Arthur Schnitzler, whose novella “Traumnovelle” was the basis of Eyes Wide Shut. This film is also known as Nacktgeld and La mise à nu. The film utilizes an experimental approach, combining 3D projections and 16mm film, and occasionally breaking the fourth wall.
The story follows a young woman named Lili whose summer vacation takes a dark, high-stakes turn when she is pressured to ask a family friend for money to keep her father out of prison.
