This is a French-Canadian drama. The plot summary makes it sound like a soap opera.
Diane Messier lives on a farm in the Eastern Townships, near the American border, with her daughter Sarah and her two sisters, Carmen and Julie. Following a tragic accident, Diane feels constantly threatened and even believes her house is haunted. Worried by her daughter’s actions, Angèle returns from Florida to bring comfort to Diane and try to reunite the family clan.
Christine Beaulieu and Marie-France Marcotte got naked in this film, during and after a lesbian encounter. They have each done nudity before, but it was many years ago, and Christine has never done anything like the level of nudity she did here. Her previous exposure consisted of modest topless shots.
