Original title: Folichonneries
This is a French-Canadian film, mostly in French, that made the festival circuit last year. IMDb defines it as a comedy, which is not false, but is misleading. You won’t get a lot of laughs. I’d call it more of an all-too-realistic relationship study that has lighter moments and humorously awkward situations.
IMDb: 7.1
No Tomato Meter or Popcorn Meter
After 16 years together, François and Julie open their relationship to explore sexual adventures and self-discovery. With two kids and their bond at stake, the path proves more complex than expected.
Catherine Chabot does some excellent nudity. She is not an especially young woman (38), and she is not glamorous, but she’s a natural performer with a very nice natural body, and I find her very appealing.

So, not the Sondheim musical…
38 is young!
It can be an interesting workday to shoot a scene like this. “How was your day?” “So, I took of all my clothes and we were all in bed naked…”
It’s nice when in non-US movies the actresses are just casually full frontal naked. There is no strategic placement of cover and stuff, she just gets up, walks around fully shaved and the world does not come crumbling down.
Well ironically, she seems to be doing the old Cinemax “pussy cover” with her hand for the first half, then just kind of gives up and goes full gash
Nice. Ms. Chabot is indeed very attractive in a ‘lady-next-door’ sort of way. It would be MUCH more sexy and natural looking for me if she had at least some pussy hair, or ideally full bush, but I can use my imagination to edit that in. I’ll probably go to see that in the local rep theatre with my wife when it arrives.
