Six-part Greek/Italian mini-series. The first two parts aired yesterday.
1928. Eager to flee her scarring family past in Trieste, the beautiful Marina falls in love with Greek sea captain Yannis. She follows him to the sun-blazed island of Syros to begin a new married life in the home of her distrustful mother-in-law. As Marina aspires to find freedom and a sensory heaven worthy of her obsession with classical Greek culture, Yannis strives to build a shipping empire with her financial support. Marina enjoys her new life, but she is soon charmed by his younger brother Minas, a brilliant Athens-based law student. But when disaster upends Yannis’ business and forces him back on the seas, the gods and monsters of Greece show their wrath. Isolated and with a child, Marina succumbs to her desire, her world sliding into a vortex of love, passion, and death. As she still struggles to define herself, this tumultuous love triangle will lead to dire consequences worthy of her most beloved ancient Greek tragedies.
It appears that the source novel is considered a modern masterpiece.
There’s lots of passion in the story, but the nudity is just so-so.
By the way, although Fotini looks good in this, Valentina Cervi looks incredible. She’s in her 50s, so I don’t know whether she’ll do any nudity in future episodes, or even whether she would look good naked at her age, but that is one beautiful woman! Talk about a MILF!

Fotini is primarily considered an Italian actress, but speaks both Italian and Greek. (Her father is Italian, her mother Greek.) She was previously naked in:

Semi-autobiographical story from Spain, about a young woman embarking on a quest to learn more about the parents who died when she was young, and their relationship as young lovers before she was born. It is a lightly fictionalized account of writer/director Carla Simón’s own experiences.
In 2004, an orphaned young woman, Marina, travels to Vigo to seek information about her biological father, who died from AIDS. She meets her uncle and the rest of her family on her father’s side, who are reluctant to bring up the past due to shame because of Marina’s biological parents’ struggles with substance abuse
Translation into plain English: Both parents died of “SIDA” (AIDS-related illness).

Great nudity – and in a film debut. This really starts 2026 off on the right foot.
