A psychological thriller from Tracy Letts, Bug made its Broadway debut at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in a Steppenwolf Theatre Company production directed by David Cromer. Running from December 2025 through March 8, 2026.
A cult classic about an unexpected and intense romance between a lonely waitress (Carrie Coon) and a mysterious drifter (Namir Smallwood). What begins as a simple connection between two broken people in a seedy Oklahoma motel room twists into something far more dangerous. When reality slips out of grasp, paranoia, delusion, and conspiracy take over in this sexy psychological thriller. The New York Times warns, “Buckle up and brace yourself because Bug is obscenely exciting.”
The video is dark, so it’s not ideal for captures. I suggest you skip the stills and go right to the video.
Carrie has appeared here in several other productions, encompassing series work and a film called The Nest, a 2020 Sundance darling that is already all-but-forgotten.
Her performance in The Leftovers earned her the #5 slot among our “best nude scenes of 2017”

I would like to know about her upcoming film with Lily James and Bella Ramsey, it should be out this year’ but don’t know when it’ll be out soon’ I hope it’s a good film with all three of them in it!
Imagine being butthurt about seeing a black guy in a play.
I bet it’s because your woman has a couple brothers on call and makes you watch.
I don’t understand. What’s the issue with interracial?
The guy who wrote the play, Tracy Letts, is her husband.
He also wrote Killer Joe which famously features full frontal female nudity (on stage and film).
Let’s give the guy a round of applause.
*round of applause*
“Killer Joe” is awesome. That was the ultimate comeback film for William Friedkin and Matthew McConaughey was a monster in that film and goddamn…. that fried chicken scene.
Clearly a MAGA moron.
I thought that Ms. Coon did a great job with her character in the latest White Lotus series. She basically stole every scene that she was in. Of course, it does not hurt that she looked so fantastic, but I am not basing myself just on that!
Beautiful woman who does nudity & can ACT too, the whole package. Saw Carrie in this – twice! – when it was at Steppenwolf in Chicago, the movie with Ashley Judd is comparitively brief on female nudity in this scene, altho Ashley has one nice butt shot getting out of bed
Tell us how much you really savor that black penis, Lindsay Graham
