This is one of Dušan Makavejev’s typical surrealistic films. Many consider him the most important figure in the history of Yugoslav cinema. This is not as impressive a distinction as you might think, since the second-most important figure in the history of Yugoslav cinema is a rusty tractor.
In this particular bit of weirdness, Dean Wormer bathes Carole Laure, who is wearing Christmas lights over her fun stuff. After his ministrations, he whips out a gold-painted penis and pisses on her. I believe this is a traditional Yugoslavian wedding night.
Kidding aside, I don’t get the point, but I never get the point of his artistic films. Frankly, I rarely get the point of his commercial films either, even when I can follow the plot.
He made this one in exile, filming in Montreal and some European locations. We’ve seen a few of his films here from time to time, as they occasionally contain some memorable nudity. In two of his more conventional films, we saw Susan Anspach and Greta Scacchi naked. Anspach made one of her rare nude appearances in Montenegro, and Scacchi got naked in The Coca-Cola Kid.

I remember seeing Montenegro (1981) in the cinema when it first came out.
The most memorable scene in it is a debauched party where a remote controlled, toy tank, with a sex toy that has been attached to the gun barrel, is trundling around the stage. There’s is a very attractive, naked stripper on the stage who squats down on the dildo to pleasure herself.
I was shocked at the time, and I have been shocked again today to see the whole film is available on Youtube.
The action starts at about 1h 20m for those of us who are interested.
That toy tank-mounted dildo still cracks me up. I liked Montenegro because it was so screwy and Coca Cola Kid for Greta and in spite of Eric Roberts.
Susan Anspach and Susan Sarandon both went to Catholic U in the 60s. Unfortunately by the time I was on campus doing Greek and Latin a decade plus ago, there were no worthy successors.
There is an even more explicit scene in Sweet Movie where Carol Laure is completely naked and rolling about in a large bath full of melted chocolate, and the camera pays close attention to shooting close up shots of he chocolate covered crotch.

Miss Monde (Carol Laure) is covered in molten chocolate, caressing her fully naked body. She fondles her breasts, her nipples are still visible. We see her with her legs spread for a whole, displaying her genitals. She spreads her legs again, we get some close ups of her labia, although it’s covered in chocolate.
Perhaps you could post that scene.
Did not make it through this, wish I’d punched out after that Dean Wormer scene. Some of the nudity is OK though.
