An absolutely underrated film. Robert Altman at his finest. Bud Cort is great in this as he will always be Harold of “Harold & Maude” as I still have my Criterion DVD copy. He was also awesome in “Heat”, “But I’m a Cheerleader”, and as the bond-company stooge in “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou”. “We fuckin’ stole it man!” We will miss you Bud. We miss you as well Hot Lips you incredible nincompoop.
Saw this when it came out and i remember coming out feeling very chipper.
‘Look! McCloud, on the hood! Bird do-do. Stop the car!” One of my all-time favorites.
