Una commedia pericolosa is an Italian comedy, as you probably guessed from the Italian title, which includes the word “commedia.” The title means “A Dangerous Comedy.”
Maurilio Fattardi works as the head of security at a department store. He calls himself “Agent Mao” because he has always dreamed of joining the secret service. His quiet life changes when a flight attendant moves into the building across from his. He sees her fighting with a strange man who appears to choke her and push her out a window. Fearing she is dead, he starts his own amateur investigation to find the truth. The movie draws inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock’s classic film Rear Window, mixed with elements of Manhattan Murder Mystery and The Pink Panther.
