I used to watch this show regularly, but it didn’t seem worth the effort, and there was too much repetition, so I stopped. I thought I’d check up on it today, after not having done so for several years. There are a lot of new faces, and some of the old familiar ones, doing the same old things. One change is that the naked exercising has gotten much more explicit. This clip features Madeline Hunny and Gabby. Madeline is the instructor, while Gabby is just not as good. To put it in coarsest terms, Gabby can’t spread her legs wide enough to offer the same views as Ms. Hunny.

Given that the hosts are random, non-famous women, I still don’t feel that it is worthwhile to cover this show, despite the new level of explicitness. But you have a say in the matter as well, since: (1) communication on this blog is interactive; and (2) I’m trying to find out there are additional ways to entertain the audience.

In general, Naked News has somewhat devolved into a vehicle for porn stars over the past few decades. But on the other hand, doing the same thing over the years gets boring, and the news cycle is more timely so you can’t really rely on the news part. Once the novelty wears off, that’s it.
I do find it interesting to look at the pubic hair styles, especially with the original cast. Back then though things were a bit fuzzy, so it was hard to tell whether Devon Calwell was completely shaved or just somewhat blonde (especially with the solid all-over tan). Completely shaven was relatively rare in those days, and the rest of the crew had various trims and styles, although eventually even Victoria Sinclair, the lead anchor came out fully shaved in the mid 2000’s. So it’s sort of a timeline of pubic hair styles.
In general, it’s probably not something Funhouse needs to cover in-depth, unless it’s a slow news day.
The lack of pussy hair leaves me much less interested.

Yeah, long time fan, but I agree its on the way out. They are all just kind of pimping their Tempted subscriptions and the content it a lot more porny. And it seems they are ditching the studio all together and doing more one-off segments.
But on the other hand, some of them are doing hardcore stuff now. Eila has full BG scenes and Marina has a few professional lesbian scenes out there.
And you still get an occasional real amateur audition, though most are camgirls or porn stars these days.

Interesting. I finally looked at the clip posted above, and it looks like it’s done in conjunction with bikinisports.com, which I only recently found. Bikinisports.com has a lot of nude yoga and workout videos, and they also have a video “newsletter” which is similar to a Naked News segment. And some of the anchors are also “angels” on the Bikinisports site.

I am not sure if they are going to survive much longer. I had signed up last year mostly because of a guest anchor Serenity Cox and noticed this year they had a March Madness basketball bracket contest with $500 prize that only had around 60 subscribers sign up. Not a good sign for total subscriber base – makes you wonder how much can afford to pay the women
I don’t know, but I assume that the anchors use the channel as a vehicle to transport their other sources of income. Is it possible that some anchors can live solely from their Naked News earnings?
