German drama
For weeks, work has been at a standstill at the giant open-cast mining excavator that Michael (62) has been maintaining for over forty years. Where coal was once mined and nature devastated, the phase-out of mining is now to be implemented, and an idyllic lake landscape is to emerge in the coming years. But for Michael, working in the open-cast mine is more than just a job; it gives him his identity and purpose in life. He tries to convince his colleagues to protest against the rapid change. Trapped in his stubbornness, however, he increasingly loses support – even within his own family. Nevertheless, Michael simply cannot accept the feeling of no longer being needed and fights back in a quixotic battle against the overwhelming change in the world.

Always cool to see mature women getting naked on screen and not just the young ladies taking all the spotlight.
