I thought it was nice for him to admit any kind of error. There are people who could not do that to save their lives.

Roger, what I’m going about is both what I want from Other Crap & what Scoop thinks the value proposition to his readers is. The reason he & I go at it, whenever Scoop chooses to engage me, is that he (sometimes) sees that I’m trying to get at the truth, & he has a clear idea what that truth ought to be. We disagree, often, but I do hope that he gets his hackles up defending his beliefs rather than simply that I’m a pest.
I fully support your idea that both he & I are laughable. And AFAICT, Scoop never backs down, so you’re dead wrong about that. He wasn’t backing down here. That’s what I was on about. Scoop is just like Trump in that way.
