A great comedy bit from Amazon Women on the Moon (1987). David Alan Grier did a great job at singing the whitest songs ever written. The premise behind it was a benefit to support the cure for the black people who were tragically born without soul. John Landis, director of Animal House, created the segment.
TRIVIA: How did David Alan Grier learn to be so white? He has a Master’s degree from Yale where he studied Shakespeare, and presumably, had ample opportunity to study white people in their natural habitats, like Sunday brunches, yard sales, antiquing, and performing in barbershop quartets.
I wonder whether he was a Wiffenpoof, possibly the whitest thing in human history.

That movie is a lost classic.
“Bullshit or not?”
“Ain’t no Thelma here! Bitch don’t live here!”
You didn’t even mention Monique Gabrielle’s skit?
That whippenpoof song… might just be the gayest thing I have ever heard. And I’m a bisexual former thespian.
They really put the “poof” in “whiffenpoof”
I didn’t want to say it so bluntly, but yes! This exactly.
I bailed about 5 seconds in, but Manilow may still be gayer (and whiter).
I watched the whole thing. They sing nice but could use a good deathgrowler for contrast.
I love all of those songs
