I love raunchy comedies, but I didn’t love this. There’s basically no narrative. It’s basically just a series of spoofs of assorted horror films. I guess that would be OK if it consisted of really powerful satire or great gags, but there just aren’t that many laughs.
As genre spoofs go, it’s worse than the eponymous original, but better than those other Friedberg/Seltzer films that followed (Epic Movie, Date Movie, Disaster Movie, Meet the Spartans, and probably some others that I am fortunate to have forgotten). The first Scary Movie wasn’t bad, but apparently those two guys had only one funny movie in the tank.

WTF are we supposed to be looking at here ????
Here is what Reddit says:
In this gag, you are supposed to be looking at a visual pun where a character is rolling his girlfriend’s labia into a joint and lighting it.
Whatever, dude.

Video (cam)

They can’t show actual labia in a Hollywood movie so they had to get creative.
You should look up that word creative, I don’t think it means what you think it means.
Part 2 was at least as funny as part 1. Honestly it’s probably my favorite in the series.
Friedberg & Seltzer were not involved with the Scary Movie sequels.
It’s arguable that they were even involved with the original Scary Movie since they were apparently credited for it despite none of their work ending up in the final script.
Wayans Bros. just 40 years late doing the same gag of one of the most strangest scenes on Brazilian cinema – cutie Carla Camurati rolling up a joing with her pubic hair in the thriller Naked Star (Estrela Nua, 1984)
These movies are about as funny as cancer
This whole scene/movie sounds dumb AF.
You must be young that’s the whole point of the movie it makes fun of scary movies this generation ruins good movies 😔
