I watched this one, then abandoned the project, but Zorg covered it.
There’s no sex, just nudists at a beach battling bad CGI monsters. There’s plenty of nudity in just about every frame, from various unknowns, and they are in good light.
That’s the good news. The bad news is that the movie is every bit as bad as the name implies. It is rated 3.3 at IMDb, and that score is very generous.

I know a couple actual nudists and they turned me onto this movie. It’s one of those “so bad It’s good” type of things.
The nudists are actually very proud of it. It apparently follows the tenants of actual nudism with no emphasis on sex or leering on body parts. Everyone is just naked; you actually get desensitized to it by the end, which they tell me is the what happens to when you go to an actual nude beach.
Low budget films can be entertaining and educational!
I am all in favour of nudity, but even those screen captures don’t make that particular movie look very good or the nudity interesting. And I guess that is your point about nude beaches – the nudity is just ‘there’ and not necessarily all that diverting. That said, I still wish nude beaches were more common in North America. I think that it is fine for nudity just to be a non-remarkable background thing sometimes, and especially in that context.
I think that’s kind of what they were going for honestly. It’s just a low budget crappy sci-fi movie where everyone happens to be naked. It’s not really designed to arouse. It just kind of “is”.
That’s why the nudists liked it. The naked people were not the main focus.
Admittedly, I never would’ve watched it without the nudity. Which again kind of makes me think this movie was almost brilliant in a special education kind of way.
Makes me want to produce fully nude Shakespeare adaptations or something. Plenty of public domain stuff that would be a lot more interesting in the buff…
I’d like to attend nude versions of Shakespeare, so you would at least have me as an audience. But I don’t think that I would be alone.
There was a story I read a few years back where some county tried to shut down strip clubs by making being naked on stage illegal unless there was “artistic merit”, so the girls in one club would recite Shakespeare naked.
They actually did an all-female, nude Shakespeare in NYC
Purchased that movie from Amazon for 5 bucks. Good looking women naked for 5 bucks- such a deal!
He made another called, Curse of the Naked Ghost Hunters. It’s awful, nowhere near as good as Mutants. Not that Mutants is a great film.
This reminds me, the guy who did the nudist film, “Act Naturally” in 2011, says later this year his long awaited, Act Supernaturally, will finally be released by their distributor. Took the dude 10+ years to make and release this movie.
My problem with “nudist” films is the lack of realism. By which I mean… most “actual” nudists don’t look that good. They’re clearly actresses who’ve been paid to be nude.
If you go to an actual nude beach or colony, the “regulars” are usually leathery-skinned, porky senior citizens, not pale, lithe, 20-somethings.
Throwback to nudie cuties. I’m here for it.
