The real nudity in the film was provided by an actress named Susan Bernard, who was raped in a cold open, before the title and credit sequence. The director obviously didn’t believe in easing the audience into the film.
Susan Bernard was a Playboy Playmate who also appeared in Russ Meyer’s Faster Pussycat Kill Kill. Her father was famous pin-up photographer Bruno Bernard aka Bernard of Hollywood.
I’m still annoyed by this. Had such a thing for her as a kid. Took me forever to track down “The First Nudie Musical” way back when and sure enough, the whole fucking cast is naked…except her.
