Hewson was a romantic interest in The Knick, a series that did not shy away from nudity. Eve did scenes that could easily have been nude sex scenes. She chose otherwise. I took that as a statement. Indeed, she later said in interviews that she knew all the tricks like nipple covers, to do a sex scene sans the nudity. She said it in a way that she seemed pleased with herself. She hasn’t had a definitive nude scene despite numerous chances since. All the signs of what some would call “nudity dodger” are met. Or, as I’ve been presuming, a never-nude.
She’s now in the company of Grace Gummer & others I thought wouldn’t do nudity but then showed up in public in a see-thru top. Maybe it’s a trick of memory, but it seems to me that a fair number of actresses have been opting for candids or at least photos to show off their blessings instead of in scenes within their career credits. This has also to some extent carried over to some famous young women who don’t happen to be actors. Call it a fad, or some such. I’m not complaining. But it’s interesting, & I don’t mean idly so.
