7 Horrifying Booby Traps Used in the History of War
Weird fact of the day from this list: In an attempt to assassinate Winston Churchill, Nazi scientists made a food bomb resembling a chocolate bar, betting his sweet tooth would lead to his demise. Thankfully it didn’t work. I thought this might be bullshit, but The History Channel corroborates and…
15 Funny and True Facts
I didn’t have time to fact-check all of these claims, and I think their concept of “funny” differs from mine, but I did get a surprise or two. Example 1: In a 2008 survey, 58% of British teens thought that Sherlock Holmes was a real person. On top of that,…
“Seven things you might not know about slavery”
Example from the list: Slavery is now illegal in every country in the world. Such bans also extend to forced labor and human trafficking. The problem is that there are today more slaves in the world than ever before. An estimated 30 million people are trapped in slavery. Of those,…

It’s Christmas, Theo. It’s a time of miracles.
The Ethics Committee just made (former Speaker) Kevin McCarthy’s Christmas. According to McCarthy, Gaetz told him that he wouldn’t make a motion to remove him as Speaker if McCarthy quashed this ethics report. If that story is true, it’s nice McCarthy finally showed a little backbone. I guess there’s a first time for everything. I have to wonder what Gaetz’s wife thinks about the report. I’ve never been married. Nor have I engaged the services of an underage prostitute, but I think that’s something to which most wives would object. Now that Gaetz is no longer in Congress and is not going to be Attorney General, will his wife be willing to stick with him?
Gaetz has money…
Does he? According to the report, he had cash-flow issues and was asking the hookers for a customer appreciation discount.
Does Gaetz have money? Or is it his wife that has money? Her brother reportedly sold Oculus VR to Meta for $2 Billion. I know if my brother-in-law was asking me for money to spend on hookers and blow, I would likely decline to give him anything but then hire a good divorce lawyer for my sister. But that’s just me.
During his campaign, Gaetz received almost $480,000 in contributions, about five times more than anyone else in the field, and almost 50 times more than Fernald, including $100,000 of his own money.[
His father Don Gaetz is wealthy. He sold his healthcare company (VITAS) for half a billion. Unsurprisingly it was implicated in a medicare fraud scheme. Seems to be a Florida pastime.
Matty is a nepobaby like Trump. Its probably why they get along.
Scumbag does what scumbags do
Indeed. BTW, is his wife pretty?
Rich and pretty. What the Hell does she see in Gaetz? Maybe she really loves foreheads.
