What a beauty.
There is a video of The Seekers performing “Georgy Girl” live (at the Sidney Myer music bowl), and they included shots of the audience. And for some reason I felt nostalgic, even though it was before I was born. It was such a simpler, maybe purer time, and you wonder where those people are today (and who the hell was screaming after the first verse). And of course that voice of Judith Durham was so incredibly good as well.
Judith Durham just passed away last year. R.I.P.
