French historical drama, AKA Colours of Time. (Literal: “The Coming of the Future.”)
My French is lacking, but one IMDb contributor says the title is some clever Gallic wordplay since La Venue sounds very much like L’Avenue, which sounds a lot like like L’Avenir. I guess I can follow that, but if there’s a point to it, I don’t know it.
Follows the lives of the cousins who inherit an old house in rural Normandy and retrace the steps of their ancestors in 19th century Paris.
