A former child actor, Suzanna started her adult career with two impressive full-frontal nude scenes in major releases in 1982 and 1984. She continued to do occasional nude scenes until 1999, the best of which seems to have been in Devil’s Paradise (1987).
She hasn’t done any nudity since she turned 40, which means she has done nothing in this century, but she continues to work regularly in TV, film, and theater.
The first pic from Brimstone & Treacle was a promo taken on the set, and is in absolute contradiction of the characters’ relationship in the film. You could argue it’s in bad taste, since she plays a helplessly paralyzed woman that he rapes twice!
1982 – Brimstone and Treacle (age 22)
1984 – 1984 (24)
1985 – Wetherby (25, non-nude)
1987 – Devil’s Paradise (27)
1988 – The Voice (28)
1990 – Never Come Back (30)
1996 – Relative Stranger (36)
1999 – The Bill, s15e3 (39. kinda sorta nudity)
I have Blu-Ray clips for Brimstone and 1984. There are DVD clips for Wetherby, Devil’s Paradise and Relative Stranger.
On the others – I got nothin’. Never Come Back and that episode of The Bill are not especially worthwhile, but if anyone has a clip from The Voice, I’d love to see it.

Lovely bush! Ah the memories of the days – not that long ago – that this could be taken for granted.
I don’t think this was taken for granted at all. I remember 1984 being played on premium cable all the time and it was pretty unusual for that much nudity. Both of her films came from Europe so a lot more nudity wasn’t unusual. Hollywood has always been horribly stingy. Anyone can find a ton of new films and shows on various streaming channels today with plenty of naked women, just don’t expect those dying Hollywood companies to be out in front of this.
I meant re the bush 😂 – which could much more be assumed then, thank goodness, assuming that there was frontal nudity.
I remember watching 1984 on a television one evening in Northern Ireland about a year after it came out. I was on an extended visit in Ireland staying with friends at the time. I don’t know why it was on TV, whether they maybe had a video player or maybe it was just playing on the BBC or something. The family I was visiting was pretty conservative Catholic and I was watching with older and younger people. Surprisingly though, nobody batted an eyelash at the nudity.
Actually, I thought the bush in 1984 was deliberately done, because in that setting there would be very little self grooming. She also had armpit hair too.
Or I could be wrong. After all, it was British/European.
It was pretty much standard everywhere until the 90s, with some exceptions of course.
Even the most conservative Englanders out in the country go for a skinny dip – I hear
Reminds me of a personal fave, Tara Fitzgerald (hows about a nud-story for her?). Her amazing bush in 1984 def made up for seeing the most depressing movie ever made, from the most depressing book ever.
