This is a new drama series from Argentina. It’s a Prime original, known as Animal Love in English.
Kaia is breaking into the trap music scene when she meets Nico, a young man recently discharged from a mental health clinic. Although they come from completely different worlds, primal desire takes over, and fate forces them to confront a secret that puts them in danger. Their love unleashes a wave of violence that traps them in a labyrinth marked by passion and tragedy.
I was excited when I saw that one of the stars was Tatu. It’s been a long time since I heard the little fella say “Dee plane!” Then I found out that the REAL Tatu is dead, and this one is a chick. Well, at least she took off her top.
Kidding aside, I couldn’t get into it at all, and ended up watching it in fast-forward. IMDb offers no help – there are only ten votes. (The score is a very weak 3.8, but a score from ten votes is meaningless.)
The nudity in the series was inconsistent. There were two promising scenes in episodes two and three. After that, there was nothing worthwhile. It’s not possible to argue that there were no opportunities for nudity, because there were plenty. There was even a non-nude rape scene in episode seven!
There was no nudity at all from the star, Valentina Zenere, although she did appear in a bikini.
Tatu Glikman in episode 1
Camila Cayota in episode 2
Tatu Glikman in episode 3
