What is the context of the group pic? Are the ladies auditioning for something by showing off their bodies?
Sort of. The rich lady is choosing a live-in housekeeper, a job that would provide a tremendous upgrade in lifestyle to a poor girl. That housekeeper eventually marries the family patriarch, thereby upsetting the power dynamic. This scene from the final episode is a flashback to her humiliating job interview.
The line-up begins with five girls, but two are dismissed immediately because they won’t strip completely naked. The rich lady makes them strip because she is sadistic and wants a servant willing to do anything she asks, but she also seems to have … er … certain other criteria, since she hires the prettiest of the three naked girls, rather than the one most completely and immediately subservient.
Thailand’s movie and TV industry has been historically very conservative. Recently they seem to bringing sex and nudity more into the mainstream and on TV. Nice to see. The actresses are beautiful. Hope this trend gets more common.
The girl who plays the lead (Narilya) is absolutely beautiful – her face, her shape – just born to be on camera.
Butts aplenty, diggin’ it
This is really interesting. It’s basically saying that the THAI censors are letting go of censorship in Thai Entertainment. If true, this is a great development for filmmakers there, and I can’t image this would NOT eventually lead to an nice uptick in on-screen skin of the female type. Netflix had already agreed to increase project funding in Asia 15% and this includes Thailand, where they actually have a pretty robust, well-established domestic industry.
Who knows.. maybe India will be next.
Can you confirm that has it happened yet or not? As it’s been exactly one year since you commented this but there have not been much nudity from Thailand since.
