A successful transgender actress and her lawyer husband decide to adopt a child, defying the conservative community in Argentina. But their attempt for a domestic happiness is thwarted when they visit the actress’s hometown.
With three- and four-minute sex scenes, this drama walks a tightrope of legitimacy, always threatening to fall into the exploitation pit, but always avoiding the full stumble. Since the scenes are so dark and the actress, a biological male who co-also wrote the film, has zero percent of the original factory equipment, I had little enthusiasm.
I don’t think I’m transphobic, and I don’t think you should judge a person by the people they want to have sex with.
Except Tom Arnold, of course.
