TRIVIA:
The first pilot was filmed in Tucson, AZ in the Fall of 2021. HBO/Max retooled the show, adding Rachel Hilson and Corbin Bernsen, in Feb of 2023. They subsequently moved the production of the show from Tucson to Albuquerque, re-shot the pilot, and finished the remaining episodes of Season 1 in March 2024.

I agree with that, but it’s just not clear who that could be from the context of the show.
Is it just a random person he’s having sex with, someone who has never been introduced? He wakes up next to her, but there’s no prior scene where they went to bed together, nor a scene where he picks her up somehow.
Nice to see Wilford Brimley getting some work.
Yeah, death was a smart career move.
