The same articles, with the added bonus of all ofthe film clips, can be found in the members’s version of the Fun House, along with the many thousands of other collages, clips and commentaries that have been created in the past two decades. (And these contributions represent only a tiny fraction of the content in the back issues, since the Fun House has been updated every day, seven days a week, for the past 27 years, except for one month in 2023.)
Film nudity that never was.
Virginie Ledoyen in Mouche. The film was abandoned.
Julie Newmar in Monsieur Lecoq. The film was abandoned before completion. The photos were taken on the set (apparently unknown to Julie).
Sienna Miller in Hippie, Hippie Shake. The film was abandoned before completion. These images came from a paparazzo who photographed the set.
Sherry Jackson in Gunn. The film exists. This nude scene does not, but the pic of Sherry and Craig Stevens was taken on the set.
Charlize Theron topless in The Cider House Rules. Charlize’s butt made the cut. Her breasts did not. The topless scene was part of the screening in Toronto, but was never in theaters or home media.
Rebecca Romijn’s topless scene in Godsend was left on the cutting room floor.
Marilyn Monroe in Something’s Got to Give. Marilyn was fired. The film was never completed. It would have been the first color nude scene from a major star in a mainstream Hollywood picture.
Barbara Rhoades in There Was a Crooked Man (1970). The scene was cut from the theatrical release. A few stills exist, but the footage seems to be lost forever.
Helen Mirren in Caligula (2024 version) Helen Mirren did more explicit nudity than we saw when Caligula hit the theaters. Almost 50 years later, the unused footage from Caligula was still preserved, and was cut into a completely new version, including the additional Mirren nudity.
Phoebe Cates in Paradise. Some 40 years Paradise was released, some original uncut, unfiltered footage Phoebe Cates nudity appeared on the Blu-Ray.
