At its heart, it’s a sentimental retelling of the Snow White tale, but it is told with nudity, extreme gore and jokes. It maintains a tone similar to those “historical” or “mythological” softcore drive-in movies from the late 60s and early 70s. You may remember them. They each had a title that began with some phrasing like “The Erotic Adventures of (fill in famous name here)…”. They were theoretically about Henry VIII or Robin Hood or Siegfried, but that was just a pretext for yet another cheap nudie flick, with maybe a few gags along the way.

Same deal here, with less nudity, but more gore.

Snow White and the queen (when in her beautiful avatar) kept their clothing on. The nudity was provided by the queen when she was in her witch avatar (different actress), and the mirror that did the “fairest of all” power rankings for the magical kingdom. Hoo, boy did the queen throw a hissy fit when the “mirror, mirror on the wall” dropped her to #2 behind Snow White!

The identity of #3 was never revealed.

I can’t imagine who was supposed to be the audience for this film. It definitely wasn’t IMDb visitors, who dropped a 4.4 on it.

Variety panned it, but the genre reviewers liked it. There are such three reviews on RT, and all of them are characterized “fresh”!

The nudity:

Mikaela Porter, Kerry Murphy and Chynna Rae Shurts as the spirits in the mirror. They had a lot of screen time, but these two captures sum up their appearances. If you want to see more, all of their screen time is included in the videos below.

Laura Hunter is the poor girl who had to test magic remedies before the queen would try them. There were many failures.

HBO is trying to appeal to the 20-something viewers they have lost to YouTube. I think the horses have already fled that barn, but …

Also in the episode was Odessa A’zion in a thong. She has attracted some buzz over her upcoming appearance in the next Timothee Chalamet movie, Marty Supreme.

The films in this group fall into two categories:

1. Sally had her implants removed in the late 1990s, so two of these films (Big Stan and Cuck) represent Sally’s period of “natural” granny nudity.

2. The other film is Flexing With Monty, a film that was in production and various stages of pre-release for 16 years. Sally’s scenes were filmed around 1994, when she was about 52 or 53 and still had her implants, but the film was released in 2010, when she was 69. It is an incredibly bad movie. I was shocked to see that it is rated 4.1 at IMDb. That’s weak, but I was expecting more like 2.1. To quote one of the reviewers:

“14 years in the making and, easily one of the worst films ever made … embarrassingly bad.”

My vote for the worst film of all time still goes to Glam, but this is a contender. You can see for yourself, because the film clip is more than three minutes long, and it gives you an excellent taste of what the film is like.

He said that when he cast Matilda de Angelis, she refused to do the nude scenes at first because they made her uncomfortable. Actress Donatella Finocchiaro suggested he talk to de Angelis’ American acting coach, Doris Hicks, about changing her mind. So Carboni traveled to Milan to meet her and de Angelis. When he arrived at Hicks’ house, he looked in the window and saw de Angelis dancing in her underwear. He rang the bell and Hicks invited him in, where she explained she was working with de Angelis to overcome her nervousness about performing nude. After continuing to dance in her bra and panties while Carboni watched, Hicks encouraged her to take the next step and remove them. But de Angelis was nervous, so Hicks said she would get naked too. Then she told Carboni he would have to do the same. He agreed and they all ended up dancing naked together. After that, he said de Angelis had no problem with being nude in the movie. In fact, she went on to appear nude in several films after that.
