That’s one for those who miss the sight of large, natural breasts on camera. (Who doesn’t?) She was a beauty, best known for her role in a 1980 Fellini film, The City of Women. As far as we know, she is still alive and would not be that old (63), but her current whereabouts seem to be a bit of a mystery. Her IMDb credits stop in 1984, when she was still in her 20s. The Italian Wikipedia says she was also in this 1995 film, but IMDb doesn’t list her in the cast, and the English Wikipedia does not concur with the Italian. Assuming she was not in that 1995 film, she has not appeared in public since a March, 1985 appearance in Playmen, which may have been shot much earlier. Searching online, I could not find an explanation for her disappearance from the film industry, nor a clue to her current status.

Tonya Harding and her man allegedly taped their wedding night. Although it was supposedly filmed in 1991, it was not released until 1994, after the infamous Nancy Kerrigan incident. It later came out that the wedding dress in the video was a prop, not her real dress, so heaven only knows when the tape was really filmed.

There was a lot of curiosity about Tonya at the time, since her name was constantly in the news, but her star is now extinguished, and honestly, you probably don’t want to see this material, which has made many lists of the worst sex tapes.

(If you are a member, you don’t need to get the film clips from those storage locker sites. They are in the members’ page along with more than 50,000 others. Aesthete alone has done more than 5,000 film clips, and Defoe about 3,400!)

Although it takes me a long time to assemble the choices, create the thumbnails, create the poll page, create the film clips and assemble the results page, I have to say that it was fun to look back on 1998. I really enjoyed recalling some of those great scenes and seeing how you evaluated them. I usually have a lot of reservations about the results of our “real time” polls, but I felt that this one came out almost exactly the way I would have done it personally. (Although one commenter reminded me that Dangerous Beauty probably placed far too low. Fair point. I would not have placed it second, as he suggested, but probably would have pegged it for the #6 slot.)

Given that it seemed to be a pleasant experience for all of us, I’ll trudge along on 1997 as soon as I muster sufficient ambition.
