Megan Rapinoe was the most famous female soccer player in the USA and was co-captain of the national team that won the 2019 World Cup without suffering a draw or a loss. Rapinoe dominated play in that competition, winning both the Golden Ball as the best overall player and the Golden Boot as the top scorer.
(Her teammate and co-captain, Alex Morgan, scored exactly the same number of goals and the same number of assists in that World Cup. The tie was broken by Megan having accomplished the same feat in fewer minutes of playing time.)

Nude and sexy? “Covered naked/ see-through and masculine-faced” would be a more apt description.
Her US women’s national team did dominate women’s soccer, although they also lost to the FC Dallas under-15 boys academy team 5-2. Make of that what you will.
As much as the rest of the world loves men’s soccer, they actually have less interest in women’s soccer than in the US.
and she now has a podcast…. doesn’t everyone?
Ugh.
When in doubt give it to the dyke
Our high school soccer team had a similar rule. When in doubt, pass it to Cupello.
Bob Cupello was an immigrant who had been a soccer star in Italy. This guy was like Babe Ruth playing against Little Leaguers. When he went to college, he once scored SEVEN goals in a single game. I don’t think I could do that if you gave me the full duration of a soccer game and I was the only one on the field. Many of his college scoring records still stand after all these decades. Anyway, if he could do that against college players, you can imagine what he did to high school opponents.
The rest of the guys on our team, except for Cupello’s brother, had never even seen a soccer game before they went to high school. And the top athletes all played more popular sports during soccer season, so the soccer team was a rag-tag crew of second-tier guys. Our soccer “coach” was actually the wrestling coach, and he basically pulled a Ted Lasso, since he didn’t even know the basic rules of soccer and had to ask the Cupello brothers about both rules and strategies.
The team actually did very well, because the other schools in our conference were in the same boat – guys who never played in or saw a game before high school. And they didn’t even have one Cupello, let alone two!
Anyway, the coach told the team there were only two things they had to remember:
1. Pass the ball to a Cupello.
2. Whatever you do, never get your body between Bob Cupello and the goal.
Looks like a fella
