Young Carol Henderson ends up in prison, where she must learn how to survive in an environment plagued by violence, murder, rape, racism, drugs, and staff corruption and brutality.

I don’t know whether we’ll ever see an HD version of the (quite graphic) scene where she is raped by Dean Wormer.

When she was young she was quite the head-turner.
I spent a year working in a legal clinic, assisting inmates at the Alderson Federal Prison Camp for Women in West Virginia, and one thing I discovered is that none of the inmates looked like the actresses in all those women-in-prison films like Chained Heat. I suppose the inmates could be prettier at maximum security prisons. The professor heading up the clinic had grown up in the town of Alderson. He told us that the prison would give a free turkey to anyone who returned an escaped inmate to the prison. I always wondered how many of the escaping women would offer sex as an alternative to the turkey. Honestly, if any of the inmates I dealt with had escaped, I think I would have chosen the turkey every time.
I found the unrated version online. The full frontal shot is not Linda Blair. It was a similar scene at around the 40 minute mark. Linda’s scene was at the 58 minute mark.

No matter how ugly the scene is, this was probably better treatment than she got when she dated “I’m Rick James, bitch!” He got Linda hooked on drugs and was later incarcerated for torturing a woman with a crack pipe. Linda is quite intelligent, so it’s hard to imagine how she got hooked up with James, other than perhaps severe depression over Exorcist 2.
I remember her in one of the adult mags. Like Playboy or Penthouse in an article about how she liked to go to swinger parties. And there was a picture of her on a bed at a party with one or both tits out while other people where having sex on the bed. Does anyone else remember that I would love to find that article. Always found her attractive in a girl next door kind of way.

That picture has been circulated through the internet as Linda Blair. It is not. It is Lindsay Freeman, using the pseudonym “Baby Breese,” from a pictorial named “Free as a Breese,” in the January, 1976 USA edition of Penthouse, page 57.
