This frothy film tells the true-crime story of the so-called polite bandit Bruno Sulak, who goes on a crime spree in 1980s France, but insists his gang never fire their guns.
The real Bruno Sulak is sometimes called a real-life Arsène Lupin, after the famous fictional gentleman-crook who was distinguished by his good manners, his friendly personality and his dislike for violence.
Sulak made many daring and successful prison escapes in his life, but died in his final one, while still in 20s.
