Deidre Hall is mostly known from her long career as a series regular in soap Days of Our Lives but did you know that before she landed the role she appeared nude in nudie magazines under the names Glenda Cole and Heidi Dorrington!?

… or was it… her twin sister???
Nah – no eyepatch
I watched Days of our Lives when I was sick at home for a week because my mom always had it on when I was trying to sleep on the couch. It was the Salem Strangler storyline, and Deidre Hall’s character was killed off. There was a huge fan response (apparently also from many mental institution residents, who loved her because she played a psychologist), and they retconned it to say it was her twin sister who was visiting who got killed.
Turns out, Deidre Hall really does have a twin sister, who previously played the Doc’s twin sister in the show. So it was a “legit” retcon.
I don’t remember Electra Woman that well (it was my kids’ era, not mine), but didn’t Andrea play some character like a villanous twin of Electra Woman from another dimension?
At that age I didn’t pay attention that much. I think I was waiting for Shazam or Isis. Or maybe Jason of Star Command. Or Ark II.
I did a quick search. Apparently I got the details wrong. Andrea played a clone.
Deidre said in an interview about Electra Girl, “My twin sister Andrea was on the show. It was a cloning episode.”

btw, have all the celebrity sleuth/celebrity skin issues minus a couple. 100 yrs from now they’ll be worth 5¢. 😛 carry on …
I dumped all of my old issues of Celebrity Sleuth and Celebrity Skin when I sold my house a few years ago. I had already scanned anything of interest, and I figured I’d never look at them again.
The interwebs made them passé. All those wasted hrs capping nude scenes on VHS lol. Things change.
Wow, she was adorably cute. It was definitely a step down going into soaps, but I guess you have to pay the bills somehow.
