American-style crime thriller from Spain. Original title: Parecido A Un Asesinato. (Literal: Similar to a Murder)
Nazario is a successful writer haunted by the unsolved murder of his ex-wife. His new partner, Eva, has just ended a toxic relationship with her ex-husband, a violent, alcoholic, and possessive police officer. Eva is harassed again by her ex and decides to escape to a mountain chalet with Nazario’s daughter, a withdrawn and manipulative teenager who records everything around her with her video camera. The situation worsens.
