Somebody requested an AI look at this.
Mixed results.
First, I asked AI to present the scene in good indoor light. That came out great, but it’s still too dark for Meg’s nudity to be clear.
So then I asked AI to do the scene in daylight. That one did not come out great. You can see the nudity, but the sound is fucked up and it looks too much like a cartoon.
Finally, I picked one frame and asked for a few iterations in natural indoor light. That one was so-so. Typical of AI, it produced a beautiful image, but it doesn’t say “Meg Ryan” to me.

THIS IS BS FIND ACTUAL NUDITY INSTEAD OF TRYING TO LIGHTEN PAST NUDE SCENES. Hollywood uses CGI to fool ticket holders like half the people on this site that believe is the artist but at least theres is close uyours is useless rubbish.
You’re right, Randy, absolutely right.
Your refund is in the mail.
You’re entitled to your opinion, but that doesn’t mean the rest of us agree with it.
Two points:
1) This is not in place of the new films and shows. It is additional material.
2) Many others enjoy it, and even come up with their own suggestions for additional scenes that might benefit from a fresh look with modern tech. Is it always good? No. Sometimes it is completely disappointing. But when it is good, like that colorized version of Andrea Thompson, it is very good.
Fully agreed!
I am enjoying the AI cleansing/lightening of images and captures that you have been doing. The results might be mixed sometimes, but they are always interesting.
Have you considered trying this on Kay Lenz in Breezy? They don’t come much prettier then Kay, and she has a full frontal scene that is very dark. Maybe too dark to do anything with, but worth a try.
Thanks either way, and keep up the great work. Between the images/captures and the interesting links Othercrap is a great stop on my travels through the web
I like the brightened version. I don’t get the cartoon comment. The sound is jacked, but who cares about that?
It’s 23 years since I watched this movie but I remember thinking that it was a disappointing take on what was quite a sexy (and interesting) book.
