The storyline takes place in Lausanne, Switzerland, where a sudden and mysterious environmental disaster occurs: Lake Geneva becomes highly contaminated, rendering local tap water dangerous to use. Ophélia Kolb plays Roxane, a stubborn toxicologist/biologist tracking down the unknown virus causing the hazard. Her husband is an impulsive police detective leading a high-stakes criminal investigation to find those responsible for the poisoning.
