There is very little flesh for a Spanish thriller with sex scenes. I had thought that Ester did at least a little rear nudity, but when I removed the day-for-night filter (see-below), I could see that she was wearing a thong – so … no nudity at all.
how did you remove the filter, what tool ?
I used three different methods and they all came out about the same, so I don’t remember which one I chose
Method 1: in Photo Director, overlay an amber filter on the image, then adjust the image manually for sharpness, remove excess artifacts, adjust some colors manually, etc.
Methods 2 and 3: Command to two AIs: “Remove the day-for-night filter. Make no other changes.” The two I used were Vireel 4.0 and Seedream 5.0.
I think I used the one from Vireel, but I can’t swear to it. They were all very similar.
I have not found the AI’s consistently helpful. Vireel and Seedream do not censor my images, but their output is usually no better than what I can do myself with Photoshop or Photo Director. (Although they do hit an occasional homer far beyond my ability.) GPT rejects all requests with nudity. Nano Banana Pro is just weird – it does the assignment, but censors the pic very slightly. Krea does the assignment in milliseconds (the speed of their engine is astounding), and does a decent job, but can’t resist altering the image. I tried one image with Gemini and it refused completely, even though it is the same parent company (Google) as Nano Banana Pro. I did not try it again. Claude does not process images.
I have found that the best AI for image restoration in general is Grok. Their imaging engine is tremendous, but not for my purposes. It rejects most of my requests for “sensitive content,” and places clothes on the others! If I had family pictures to restore, however, I would use Grok. (GPT also does a good job on old B&W images.)
You really have to squint to see that thong. I prefer to think that thong technology has come a long way; the alternative is I’m so old my eyes are going.
