Given that it is easiest to hide make-up / prosthetics using natural crease lines, I’d wager a month’s salary that the pubes are not real, but part of the make-up.
I found the season finale to be a bit disappointing. It was almost entirely focussed on Dr. Robby, to the exclusion of all of the other interesting characters on the show. Dr. Robby is a great character to be sure, but I like to see development of the other storylines also. And in focussing on Dr. Robby, the last episode was further frustrating in its lack of any satisfying resolution of both his story arc in relation to other characters and his internal arc. Maybe you could argue that this lack of resolution represents ‘real life’, but it did not make for very satisfying viewing.
The season as a whole was quite good though, and I for sure will watch the next one.
