To be completely fair, he is already the greatest president in the history of Venezuela.
He is now the second American to be president of two countries. If I remember right, the adventurer William Walker was the President of two different nations: Nicaragua, and the short-lived Republic of Lower California.
He wanted to create a new type of society organized by race and caste and dominated by white supremacy.

But in all seriousness, it removed a bad actor from the board in our own hemisphere, is a severe financial blow to Iran Russia Cuba etc, it slows down drugs coming into our country, and hopefully it reduces “asylum” claims in the US. Side effect, it also gives the Venezuelan people real opportunity now. I like it.

Venezuela isn’t a large importer of drugs and Trump loves drug dealers anyways.
Russia and China’s finances aren’t hurt at all. Cuba is inconsequential in any case.
It gives US oil a real opportunity. Regular Venezuelans won’t be better off.
I doubt it slows anything down with regards to drugs in the country, because the cartels run on their own accord. Also, if we wanted true change the opposition would become leader of Venezuela, not the same philosophy moved from VP. Of course, his ego can’t stand the alternative won a trophy he wanted so that’s not the alternative.
At best, a tangential move that cost the taxpayers money and those who died in collateral damage their lives. The Trump era once again can just be summed up as another action with a lot of bluster that doesn’t change the system at all, costs the taxpayers money, and provides some potential financial gain from billionaires who may exploit the situation.
To be determined but I agree the opposition leader should take over. However, that’s probably not achievable right now without boots on the ground. Stabilize the country, get the new administration to play ball, go back to free and fair elections and let the people of Venezuela choose who they want to lead them.
