Swiss drama. In French.
In a small town on the edge of wild country, an eccentric and delinquent mother has had enough of the rules. Crushed by her mistakes and by a society that doesn’t give a damn – or a second chance – to people like her, she’ll do anything to prove to her children, and to herself, that she still is a good person.

Would it be allowed in an American movie for an actress to be naked in a scene with children watching her? Or is it considered inappropriate and not allowed?
In Kramer vs Kramer (1979) JoBeth Williams was in the hallway, completely naked, looking for the bathroom when she ran face to face with Dustin Hoffman’s very young son (actually looks somewhat similar to the scene with Kolb here), It was played for laughs. So I guess it’s ok.
NYPD Blue had a similar scene with Charlotte Ross, where she got surprised by her lover’s kid while naked in his house. They actually cast a kid whose ears stuck out and framed the shot so his ears perfectly covered her boobs. Also played for laughs.
It has been done in American films in the past and audiences have always been fine with it. I’m sure there are some religious homes that feel otherwise, but they feel that way about everything related to sex and nudity. In modern Hollywood, they have so many ridiculous rules that I’m sure they stay away from it most of the time. Still they do have occasional exceptions.
There was a show called Detour on TBS that started in 2016 that was incredibly politically incorrect. It lasted for 3 seasons and was very funny. It was about a family with 2 children, probably an 11 y/o boy and 13 y/o girl. In the very first episode the family mistakenly ends up in a strip club. The 2 kids were hanging around a bunch of girls wearing little more than thongs swinging around poles. The 2 kids also swore quite a bit in the series. I would assume many on the far right would want the creators of the show to be arrested. I was very surprised that Hollywood created it and don’t really understand why they have these exceptions every once in a while. Especially on a basic cable network like TBS.
I remember one called “Private Lessons” with Sylvia Kristel. Although it was a teenage boy.
“Rambling Rose” with Laura Dern and Lucas Haas
Totally gratuitous scene. Love how she checks her hair out in the mirror before opening the door. Written/Directed by a woman, of-course, so it’s all good. 👍
