There are some great memories here, but as usual with these lists, there’s also sloppy labeling and misinformation.
For example, that Marilyn Monroe pic is not from 1941, when she was in high school. She could not have been taking a break from filming because her first film role was in 1947. Moreover, she did not have blonde hair until 1946, possibly later. This pic is probably from around 1950.

On my Rome tour, my guide pointed and said, “and that’s where they strung up Mussolini’s body!”
My favorite Apollo 11 picture is the one that Michael Collins took from orbit which shows the moon and the earth. It was captioned something like, “This is a picture of the location of every past and present human, except Michael Collins.”
(Obviously, it was while Armstrong and Aldrin were on the lunar surface.)
I read somewhere that almost all of the photos of an Apollo 11 astronaut on the surface of the moon are Buzz Aldrin. Because when Neil Armstrong had the camera, he took pictures of Buzz. And when Buzz had the camera, he also took pictures of Buzz, aside from a couple of accidental shots with Neil in shadow or cut off at the edge of the frame. The best photo of Neil on the moon is his reflection in Buzz’s helmet.
