Have any of you looked at the UHD version of Le Hasard et la Violence? This film contains the one and only clear topless scene from Katharine Ross (of The Graduate).1
According to this site, the film is available in 4K, but I’m not inclined to trust it.
So far my collection consists of this film clip and a few mediocre captures:

Footnote 1: She did a brief breast-feeding scene in the Betsy and a see-thru to prosthetic breasts in The Stepford Wives, but both of those scenes are rubbish nudity. She did an exceedingly dark scene in Tell Them Willie Boy Is Here in which she seemed to show a nipple, but who knows? No flesh is visible around that nipple.

She will turn 85 this month, which is older than I thought before looking it up, but I don’t feel too bad about my confusion, because she always claimed to be younger. She became famous when The Graduate came out in 1967. She was supposed to be a college student in that film, but was really only 8 years younger than Anne Bancroft, who played her mother. That wasn’t known at the time because she had gone full Mimi Rogers on her birthdate. Early in her career, Ross claimed to be born in 1943 rather than 1940. She was eventually unmasked by the databases now publicly available. Whatever age she is, she is still alive and healthy, as far as I know. She seems to have retired now, but she had a starring role as recently as 2019.
It does seem to be real because it’s also available in 4k in Japan on another website/seller
(Unless of course they’re both owned by the same scammer.)
That said, I can’t find it on any of the usual sites in 4K under both the French or the English name Chance and Violence and it seems a 1080P version was released only a few months ago in Belgium.
The website highdefdigest does have a ‘review’ (provided by the distributor) of the excellent movie The Conversation regarding its 4K release.
Personally, I’m not always sold on 4K as the image can look cartoony. I think this is a case of technology reaching diminishing returns and even if it is real, I’d still want to see a clip of it first.

Tell Them Willie Boy is Here (1969) seems to offer some peeks of Katharine’s breast and later her butt. It’s quite dark (largely due to an intentional process by the director) and quick.

Who knows? I’ve been through that scene a zillion times in the past thirty years. Here are a couple of versions for comparison.
In the long-distance shot, it could be anyone, and we may or may not be seeing bare flesh.
I think there is a stray nipple in the close-up shot, but that has to remain a guess because the director and the DP tinkered so much with the shot. It definitely looks like a nipple, albeit a ghastly one floating in darkness.
Again, Le Hasard et la Violence remains the only time we ever got a good look at her breasts.

I’m a little upset that the scene from The Stepford Wives was described as “rubbish”. No, it’s not her body–but that’s okay because it’s her idealized body shown beautifully lit as she gets up to do something truly heinous. The film is truly great, goofy, 70’s horror (featuring the supremely creepy Patrick O’Neal) so I can’t just sit idly by and let people call it “rubbish”. I wouldn’t comment in defense of the sequel from the 90’s (or whenever it was), so if you want to call that “rubbish,” I’m okay with it. In reality, thanks for posting Katharine Ross. I’ve loved her since she screamed “Beeeeeen” in The Graduate.
“Rubbish” only applies to the quality of the nudity, not to the scene or the film.

In my 60+ yrs searching for screen nudity ‘Le Hasard et la Violence’, posted few yrs ago at my goto celeb site, was one of a couple movies never knew existed. 😮
And yes, Ross was 27 in ’67 and Hoffman was 30 born Aug 1937. Both starting college at a very late age, eh.
Sad that once again a beautiful Hollywood actress had to go to Italy just to show her tits.
