I know the existence of the Mattgaetz has been confirmed. He is the type of Republican that makes me ashamed to be one along with the Marjorietgreen, and, of course, the Frumpytrumpdump. The only reason I haven’t changed my voter registration is that unless I remain a registered Republican, I won’t be able to vote against these jackasses in GOP primaries. Not that my vote in the Bronx seems to matter, much. If nothing else, Gaetz’s nomination (and his ethics report) got him out of the House. He could actually retake his House seat on January 3rd because he won reelection, but that would release the ethics report.
In all seriousness, I wonder if the whole Attorney General nomination was just a favor to Gaetz to give him a reason to resign ahead of the ethics report.
I really want to see Marjorie Taylor Green nominated as Ambassador to Israel. That would be a gift to Jimmy Kimmel and the other late-night hosts, and it would get her out of Congress.
Ambassador to Israel would be fun, but you know Trump is going to make her head of the NWS so she can control the weather.
