Those Haitians are an especially tricky people!
Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance tried to prove his baseless claims about Haitian immigrants eating pets by pointing to a police report from one resident in Springfield, Ohio, that alleged her cat may have been stolen by her Haitian neighbors. Turns out the cat, Miss Sassy, had been hiding in the basement the whole time, and Anna Kilgore had apologized to her neighbors for the mix-up.
May I just add a personal note? I could not blame the Haitians if they ate Miss Sassy. She looks delicious.
Also, these are not your typical Haitians. These are very special ones that come not from Haiti but from faraway Haitia, which borders on Shangri-La, Brigadoon and Westeros.

I’d say he’s probably a very smart guy, and he has been an author throughout his life. His resume is great: lawyer, entrepreneur, ex-Marine, successful author. He graduated summa cum laude from OSU. To start from his redneck, hillbilly upbringing and advance to Yale Law School was quite an achievement.
From what I’ve seen, his weakness is not a lack of brains or talent, but a lack of character. He is willing to say absolutely anything to move up the ladder. Donald Trump is Satan. Donald Trump is God. Whichever one works at the time.
My guess is that he is neither liberal nor conservative. He is whatever will advance his career. I saw plenty of guys like him in my corporate years, guys who basically said to their bosses, “tell me what I believe.” At this moment, that means full MAGA.
But I don’t question his credentials, just his sincerity.
Fact is, MAGAts are stupid enough to believe this type of nonsense, and still think that JD isn’t just a two-entry option for when Peter Thiel wants to relieve some stress.
I don’t even bother with reality anymore with Trumpers, I just take their crazy to a new level when confronted. Just say Trump and Vance are shapeshifting reptilian lizard people trying to steal human souls once they come to power in concert with the freemasons to bring in the new world order. Outcrazy the crazies since shared reality doesn’t exist anymore so any claim is valid.
At least, we got to see yet another case of how gullible Trump and his supporters are and this music video…
As gullible as Trump is, it’s very scary to think that any unproven hear-say could convince him to do something, esp if he were to control nuclear launch briefcase again as POTUS.
