I don’t believe this story.
The guy looks totally innocent to me:

Uncle Scoopy's world-weary musings about naked celebrities, sports, humor and other important, manly things.
It’s difficult to pick a favorite from the list, but one of them hits close to home. One of my kids went to Centre College, an elite private school that has graduated many people who distinguished themselves in government and jurisprudence. Presumably neither those notables nor my son took the…
In tests, Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4 would resort to “extremely harmful actions” to preserve its own existence, a safety report revealed. That’s not a design flaw. It’s actually good programming. The AI is thinking logically, and ethics don’t enter into it. That’s like saying to somebody, “I’m going to shoot…
… give it to this one: “Overturned strawberry truck causes jam on two highways.” If I had been the editor, I would have changed “causes” to “creates,” but I wouldn’t have thought of either one, so props to the author. Share via: Facebook X (Twitter) LinkedIn More
“We want the cheapest lawyer you’ve got. Probably only owns one suit. Sweats a lot.”
(I stole this)
“… don’t you ever tell me where you found him. Ever.”
I was curious where this obviously brilliant man got his law degree and figured that would be easy enough to find out. Both Martindale-Hubble and state bars have online directories of lawyers that usually include where lawyers went to college and law school, the states where they are admitted to practice, and the year they were admitted. All Martindale-Hubble has is that he is licensed in MS and was admitted in 2003. It also has an address in Jackson, MS. I wouldn’t necessarily trust that address is current. I haven’t practiced law in more than 20 years and the address in my listing is 24 years old. But unlike Dale, it does have my college and law school. The MS Bar entry doesn’t have any more information than Martindale Hubble. His bail was set at $75,000 and I think there is a much better chance of finding him at the jail than at the address in Jackson.
Too bad Don Knotts is no longer with us. He’d be perfect in the movie versioh.
This guy must have fallen through the first-round audition picks for the sleaziest-looking attorney during the Better Call Saul series. Probably too on the nose?
My second thought (first being: Aaaaauugh!) was it’s probably a mugshot, which never catches people at their best. But I don’t see in frame any ID of him or of the arresting department. Then I thought, what if this *is* his best look? What if he went down to Glamor Shots, had them tweak his look, get his good side, etc. and this is the man at the top of his game?
