This is a small-budget film written and directed and by former cinema wunderkind, Luc Besson, who is now 66 years old. (How can that be?) It was shot on a smart phone, and was supposedly filmed guerilla-style, without permits, during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdowns in L.A. Why is the former…

This may surprise you in two ways: 1. There is nudity in a South African film, 2. Embeth Davidtz is still getting naked at age 60. It has been many years since Embeth Davidtz did a nude scene, but I guess she really trusted this director, perhaps because the actress…
Full frontal female nudity is so rare now, even in Poland, amazing.
Except in Russia where it is the reverse of the West, it is mostly women.
Not anywhere near as rare as in USA, Canada, Australia, UK. It pretty much no longer exists in these countries, while at the same time, naked men are everywhere. Kinda creepy because it’s nothing the audience actually wants or asked for, but it is what it is.
That is a subjective opinion. There are thousands of straight women and gay men who don’t think the same as you. Regards
Very, very few straight women. The members at sites like Mr. Man and Dudes ‘n’ Organs (sites with male nude scenes) are about 99% male.
Women view this as a manner of equality and fairness, thinking “Why are we always getting naked while the men keep their clothes on?” When it comes to actual interest in male nudity, however, the target market for it consists almost entirely of other men.
Correct. Well stated.
I’ll add, same thing for Playgirl magazine in 70s.80s, as another example. Subscribers were overwhelming male, which is funny they made this recent TV series about it, which suggested the opposite of this reality.
Also, I would not see it as kinda creepy if, within context of the subject of screen nudity, there was any semblance of ‘equality’ – meaning both men and women doing screen nudity equality, not that this must be a rule, per se. Just saying, currently there is no equality here coming from the entertainment companies in English speaking nations.
I agree in part but this is too long a debate and my English is not good enough to explain it properly. Regards
I read somewhere a few years ago that heterosexual women DO respond positively to male nudes, but not necessarily in the same way and to the same extent as hetero men respond to female nudes. In terms of a direct sexual response, testing indicated that it was most provoked in women by male nudes where 1) the man is erect and 2) is looking right into the camera (i.e., at them). Go figure.
Are we 100% about that translation? I was really hoping “Prosta Sprawa” meant “Sprawling Prostitute”.
