I love female hockey players. You know, in my day, I was quite good at playing hockey.
Oh, wait. I mean I was good at playing hooky. I suck at hockey, or at least I would suck if I tried it, because I don’t even know how to skate.

Strange sidebar:
My parents were good sports and had a pretty good area in the side-yard with no trees or bushes. They let me and my friends water it down in winter to create a makeshift hockey rink. None of us could skate, or had any desire to, but we really kicked each others asses playing our version of hockey in our boots, every single day during the Christmas vacation. We had some flimsy plastic toy hockey sticks, and we used a wiffle ball as the puck. I remember that it was really fun – just an excuse to trip and push one another – and nobody ever got seriously hurt, because we were 9 or 10 and didn’t use any lethal weapons. Kids that age fall down, but they just get back up again.
Suburban parents like mine would probably not allow their kid to use the yard like that today. Too much legal liability.
